La enseñanza de idiomas está convirtiéndose en un área importante en programas escolares y universitarios. Las sociedades globales y ciudades cosmopolitas están promoviendo y celebrando la mente bilingüe y perspectivas multiculturales. Y poco a poco la enseñanza de idiomas está asumiendo un lugar más destacado dentro del sector educativo.
La oferta para aprender idiomas está creciendo en todos lados, tanto en los centros urbanos del mundo como en las tiendas de aplicaciones en línea – dirigido a nuevas generaciones, así como a los adultos. No es una moda, pero una necesidad.
El método de PIA propone a enriquecer y a motivar para formar hablantes proactivos, personas con confianza en sus habilidades y conocimientos y con una sensibilidad intercultural.
El producto final de cada taller será la presentación al público de una creación artística ideada y actuada por los participantes. El libreto del producto escénico a presentar, así como todos sus elementos será ideado colectivamente por los estudiantes y acotado por los artistas docentes del taller.

Our program includes knowledges, skills and attitudes regarding language, theatre and social conventions:

1. Language conventions consist of the grammatical structures and vocabulary appropriate for the student’s level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. During their learning process, students will:

Dramatize daily situations in a realistic way, using the correct language for each situation.

Develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills in an integrated way.

Demonstrate heightened confidence, fluency and spontaneity when expressing themselves in a Foreign Language.

2. Theatrical conventions consist of the skills of acting and improvisation and the system of rules agreed on between the public and creative staging. During their learning process, students will:

Identify, outline and arrange the parts of a play in three acts.

Combine body language with facial gestures and verbal expression cohesively.

Replicate, produce and coordinate different postures, qualities of movement and enunciation of sounds in a precise way.

3. Social conventions consist of the set of tacit rules that exist within a community, society or country. During their learning process, students will:

Appreciate cultural sensitivity and intercultural understanding as meaningful values for themselves.

Combine body language with social behavior in a more connected way.

Develop healthy interpersonal communication with their peers and instructors.
